About John P. Mulligan

: John P. Mulligan is the creator and maintainer of SolarisGuide.com, the leading online information resource about the Solaris operating environment. The site features technical manuals, FAQs and news. John spent thee years in the Computing Support Services department at Lafayette College working on just about every aspect of Unix systems administration and management. He migrated all the college Sun SPARCstations from SunOS 4.x to SunOS 5.x (a.k.a. Solaris 2.x) last year. During this time he started to collect as much information as he could about Solaris-specifically the migration of SunOS 4.x to Solaris 2.x. As a chemical engineer, his research on the modeling of microfluidic flows was performed using Sun Solaris workstations.
