All 3 authors are involved in writing the new specifications and are External verifiers with a range of sector experience in Public Services (police, magistrates, sport and leisure). Marilyn is currently the Public Services Course Co-Ordinator at Derby College of Further Education. Margaret is a BTEC consultant and verifier with decades of teaching and sector experience. Alan is a lecturer at two further education colleges in Nottingham and has taught public services since 1995.
